Cube Escape Arles - Walkthrough

Arles, October 1888
What do i remember?

I love cube escape game series. Particularly this one 'Arles'. It’s the least creepy of all in the series :)

Walkthrough:

Bed/Door

Click on the bed. Lift both the pillows, collect absinthe bottle.

Collect the hat.

Click on the jackets, a key will fall from one of them.
Click on both the paintings behind the bed, collect 2nd painting piece from behind one of the painting.

Click on the left to go back and collect that small key that fell from the jacket.

Mirror/Window

Collet the water can, brush from the small brown table and paint brush from the drawer of the small table.

Open the window behind the table and click on curtains to see the view. Just admire the view (looks more like a painting). I was expecting something creepy but nothing much happens here.

Go back, click on the mirror on the left , you will see yourself (obviously) with blonde hair and beard. Took a while for me to realize that ;).

Collect the 1st painting piece from behind the mirror.

Cupboard/Table

Find the absinthe spoon on the blue table. Get that and 3rd painting piece from behind that table.

Use the brush on the white stain and it will show you some alphabet. Ignore it for now.

Go back, use the small key on the green table's left cupboard next to the blue table. Collect the wine bottle.

Click on the flower pot, On moving closer, collect the 3rd painting piece from behind brown flower pot and white sugar cube.

Door/Chair

Go right and on the next screen , collect the 4th painting piece on the top of the white towel and 5th painting piece from beside the chair.

We have covered all the screens.

Now go back to the paintings on the wall. Finish the 2nd painting on right.

Once the painting is finished, keep clicking on the man from the painting and his heads pops open (yeah welcome to the 1st  creepy scene) , collect the sunflower from his head.

Go the table with flower pots and place this sunflower on the right brown pot.

Click on the bottom 2 sunflowers first and middle 3 flowers next from the left flower pot, you will see the sunflower rises on the right 2 times. As it rises, a key comes out of it, Get that small key.

Use this small key to open the right cupboard of the same green table. Collect the knife.

Now go to the left and notice the glass on the blue table besides the green one. Place the absinthe spoon on the glass.

Place the sugar cube on that spoon next. Pour the absinthe liquid from the green absinthe bottle. Pour it and empty it.

Keep repeating this process of pouring and emptying till it turns into the 6th and last painting piece.

Use this last painting piece to finish the painting on the left. Repeat the process of clicking on the painting till you get the golden key from its mouth.

Open the blue door on the right with the golden key. A man - 'My friend Paul' comes out and behaves like a kid by not giving us the palette. Holds it like a baby :/

Just distract him by giving him the hat(new toy). He will drop the palette. Take it without hesitation :)

Go to the paintings wall behind the bed. You will see a drawing with alphabets on it (below the left painting) with a cloth hanging around the corner. Place the palette to paint the colors. Leave this screen for now.

Notice the drawing on the right. water can has vertical lines. wine bottle has horizontal lines and absinthe bottle has slanting lines. Remember this.

Now go to the left and observe the drawing besides the window. It is similar to the arrangement on the small brown table besides that with same horizontal , vertical and slanting lines as we had seen in previous drawing.

Now go to the brown small table with that arrangement.

Pour the liquids according the to the picture.

Big jar and middle bottle - wine

First bottle - water

Last bottle and the glass - absinthe liquid.

Once this is done, you will see some action in the blue bowl kept in between and will hear strange cube escapee sound.

Observe the faint ear like picture on that blue bowl.

Go to the mirror again and look at yourself. Use the knife on the mirror and you cut off your own ear (yikes). Collect the ear and place it in that bowl.

Something happens. Click on that ear and keep clicking till you go inside and see 2 doors in front of you.

You will see the arrangement of weights. The left door leads you back to the room while the right one has a passcode.

Check the weights for drum and the other thing(maybe it's a hammer?) written on the door. Drum is 1 and that other hammer like thing is 3.

If you check the weights you will get 1458 as passcode. 8 is just a guess as the weight of the last object is little more heavier than others. I checked from 6, 7 and door opened at 8 :)

You will enter the same room with probably different time. Look into the mirror and you will see yourself as a black shadow.

Use the gun on the mirror to kill yourself. As soon as you do, you will get the white cube.

Now move towards that drawing with palette. Time to color it :)

Color is as per the hints:

cb - dark green color ( you get this hint from the drawing on the left. Click on the bottom part of that drawing to reveal it)

g - dark blue (from the blue table, --yeah stop ignoring it now :)

hm - yellow  (from below the left pillow)

wm - white (towel)

gl - light blue (ceiling)

? - black (hint from inside the ear)

ra - dark green (from the green table)

Once the colors are done. Click on the question mark on the middle. You will get the black cube.

Use both white and black cubes on the door with 2 squares (ofcourse) and get the hell out of there :)
